List three or four things you liked about this workshop?

  • understanding some of Shakespeare’s work
  • the training such as voice work we received
  • meeting actors and others that have experience in professional theatre

What did you like least about this workshop?

The last few weeks of the program. We went through a lot of stress trying to put the show together. It paid off in at the end.

What were some of the most important things you learned in the program?

The most important thing that I’ve learned is having a better understanding of Shakespeare. Having hands on experience with Shakespeare is better than learning about him or his plays in class.

Please feel free to say anything else about the Shakespearience Summer Experience below:

Besides the Shakespearience workshop being a way to spend free time and learning about Shakespeare, I also gained new friends from the experience. Shakespearience was like hitting two birds with one stone; the program was a useful way to spend time after school but also it was educational. Not educational in the way that would make you want to rip your eyes out but unknowingly.

I personally enjoyed this experience and thought it was very worthwhile. I learned so many new things as well as many new people and would definitely recommend this to others.
